Unfortunately, as an owner of working equipment you can be confronted with theft of your precious belongings. Arbitrary intervention in the system the current generation of electronically regulated hydraulics and Com II engines is based on is undesirable. The BMWT Lock security system, that has been developed together with TNO, SCM (Dutch Institute for Certification of Vehicle Security Systems) and the Insurers Association, is intended to stop the theft of equipment. With the BMWT Lock you meet the stern demands of the insurers and the W2 requirement of the equipment being able to endure an attack time of 15 minutes. This substantially reduces the chance that criminal use of for example your Ahlmann or Mecalac will lead to theft, joyriding or ram-raiding. In addition to assurance regarding the prevention of theft, also the continuity of the work is not endangered.

Unique in the world of construction machines is that the security does not only interrupt the ignition, but also the servocontrol of the hydraulics.

In order to increase the ease of operation one can opt for the recognizer. The receiver is connected to the high-device of the BMWT Lock and the transmitter is carried for example in the pocket or wallet of the machinist. When the machinist is within or outside a three-meter radius from the receiver, the system is activated/deactivated.

Advantages:
- ease of operation, no need to repeatedly enter the PIN code;
- no dirt, sand, etc. on pin code control

NB :
The system can at all times also be operated by entering a pin code. You do not depend on the carrier of the recogniser.
