For over 50 years the name of Ahlmann has been equivalent to innovative (swing) shovel loader techniques. In 1952 the first Swing Shovel Loader was developed and mass-produced by Ahlmann.
In the sixties again Ahlmann was the first company to manufacture shovel loaders with power-regulated hydrostatic drive. And still today Ahlmann stands for innovative product ideas, low-noise and low-exhaust, but also ecological products due to the use of recyclable materials.
Ahlmann Baumaschinen has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001 since 1996. Employee training is an essential part of the quality offensive and fully benefits the high quality requirements of the buyers.
Ahlmann Baumaschinen has its office in Büdelsdorf, a stone's throw from Rendsburg, in the north of Schleswig Holstein and close to the port of Kiel. Ahlmann was established in 1994 following the break-up of the Ahlmann group.
Since 2002 Ahlmann has been owned by Mecalac s.a. in Anncy (France) for 76%. The other 24% is owned by the also French Manitou in Ancenis
